Incident at the Basilica of the Annunciation in Nazareth

[CTS News] The Franciscans of the Custody of the Holy Land have received reports from the Guardian of our friary at the Basilica of the Annunciation in Nazareth that at 5:30 pm this afternoon (March 3) several persons entered the Basilica and set off some small explosive devices causing some minor damage.

Anglican Christian from Nablus seriously wounded during IDF raid

February 24, 2006. Canon Hosam Naoum reports: “The situation in Nablus in the last few days has been very bad. Every day we hear of people wounded or killed due to the continuous incursions since the middle of last week. But what made things even worse for our community in Nablus is that one member of our congregation, Mr. Farah Kawa’, was seriously injured. He almost lost his life, but the Lord was so great that he protected his life.”

At the invitation of Johannes the students from St. Andrew’s Church Ramallah and St. George’s Cathedral Jerusalem proudly performed their new skills after only six months of training by giving concerts to their parents and to the parishioners.
